Possible problem in Ingate Firewall/SIParator(TM) 3.2.1

Hej

I version 3.2.1 av Ingate Firewall/SIParator finns en bugg (tracking id
979) som gör att vissa inställningar medför att maskinen hänger sig när man
försöker ta dem i drift. Den kombination av inställningar som åstadkommer
detta är många interfaceinställningar (många interface, många statiska
router osv).

Om man drabbas av detta gör man så här:

Om man inte behöver 3.2.1 och kan nedgradera
============================================
1. Starta om maskinen med hjälp av strömbrytaren eller RESET-knappen.
2. Gå till sidan Uppgradera och tryck på Nedgradera.
   OBS! Detta gör att alla inställningar som gjorts efter uppgraderingen
   försvinner.
3. Gör om de inställningar som försvann vid nedgraderingen.
4. Vänta på nästa uppgradering.

Om man behöver fixarna eller nya funktioner i 3.2.1 eller inte kan nedgradera

1. Hämta en patch på http://www.ingate.com/errata/3.2.1/3.2.1-hangpatch.fup.
2. Starta om maskinen med hjälp av strömbrytaren eller RESET-knappen.
3. Gå till sidan Spara/Läsa inställningar och spara inställningarna till
   fil.
4. Tryck på återgå till sparat.
   OBS! Detta gör att alla nya inställningar man försökte ta i drift
   försvinner.
5. Gå till sidan Uppgradera och läs in patchen.
6. Om inte detta heller fungerar får man gå tillbaka till steg 2 och efter steg
   4 stänga av ett par interface och ta inställningarna i drift innan man
   läser in patchen.
7. Nu går det att läsa in de sparade inställningarna igen.

Hello,

In version 3.2.1 of Ingate Firewall/SIParator, there is a bug (tracking
id 979) which may cause the unit to hang when some configurations are
applied. The configurations for which this occurs typically have many
interface settings, such as many interfaces and many static routes.

If this occurs on your unit, do like this:

If you don't need 3.2.1, and can downgrade
==========================================
1. Reboot the unit by cycling the power or using the RESET button.
2. Go to the Upgrade page in the GUI and press the Downgrade button.
   NB! All configuration made after the upgrade will disappear when
   the Downgrade button is pressed.
3. Do the missing configuration again.
4. Wait for the next release.

If you need the fixes and functions in 3.2.1, or if you can't downgrade
=======================================================================
1. Get a patch for the bug at
   http://www.ingate.com/errata/3.2.1/3.2.1-hangpatch.fup.
2. Reboot the unit by cycling the power or using the RESET button.
3. Go to the Save/Load configuration page in the GUI and save the
   configuration to file.
4. Press the Abort all edits button.
   NB! All configuration made after the last successful Apply configuration
   will disappear when the Abort all edits button is pressed.
5. Go to the Upgrade page and upgrade with the patch file.
6. If this doesn't work either, start over with step 2 above. After step
   4, deactivate some of the interfaces and apply the new settings before
   you try to upgrade with the patch file again.
7. When you have successfully upgraded with the patch file, you can
   load the saved configuration and apply that again.
